Tempered Design is focused on the salvage and re purposing of vintage architectural and industrial materials into unique small batch furniture lines. We create simple thoughtful designs which showcase the structural and aesthetic integrity of the materials of the past while providing functional art for the modern home. Each design is steeped in process, distilled down to its most basic components,and fortified for structural stability with function as the driving force behind form.

Natalie and Elijah George are hardworking driven designers, dreamers and entrepreneurs. Elijah's background in landscape architecture and construction combined with Natalie's experience in design and fashion create the foundation for the Tempered Design aesthetic.
